Tora, Tora, Tora – Pearl Harbor reenactment complete with explosions Watch Videos
TORA TORA TORA is a re-creation of the December 7th 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. It's accomplished through hundreds of dedicated volunteers -- most belonging to the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) working as ground crew, maintenance, pilots and pyrotechnic experts. The purpose is to create a dynamic history lesson about the event that propelled us into World War II .....and entertain.
TORA's re-creation is usually the feature performance at organized air shows. It involves many Japanese fighters and bombers simulating the Pearl Harbor attack. In addition, TORA provides breathtaking smoke, fire and explosions from the pyrotechnics team. A professional announcer explains the purpose, history and performance to the crowd.
Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, began like so many others, light Hawaiian breezes and clear skies, soft ukulele music fills the air and church bells from Honolulu ring gently over Pearl Harbor. Breakfast is being served and everyone is having a relaxed morning, enjoying life.
SUDDENLY ...You hear a drone coming from the North ... a formation of Zeros, Kates and Vals appears over the tops of the trees, and the drone turns into a roar! "TORA-TORA-TORA!""This base is under attack!" The ukulele music is overpowered by the explosions that rock the ground around you and by the rattle of machine guns ... Visit our website

Our professional aerobatic performance team features the Texas T-Cart, a highly modified 1946 Clipped-wing Taylorcraft BC-12D; it is truly a one-of-a-kind airplane. Over the years, Randy Henderson and his Texas T-Cart have become a genuine crowd favorite with their graceful presentation of old-time barnstorming grassroots aerobatics. |

Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Red Tail Squadron P-51C Mustang – Restored Tuskegee Airman Plane
Like thousands of other Americans in 1940 and 1941, the young black men who would become known as the Tuskegee Airmen were full of patriotic zeal during the run-up to the country’s involvement in World War II. What set them apart was that they wanted to fight the enemy from the air as pilots. Many applied to U.S. Army Air Corps flight training programs, but all were rejected because of the color of their skin. read more....

Team Chaos – Gary P. Ward, Randy Harris, and Neal Darnell, featuring the Wall of Fire
TEAM CHAOS EXTREME AIR SHOWS presents... one of the Top Air Show Acts in the Nation...
An unbelievable performance involving two of the top aerobatic planes in the nation and the World’s Fastest Jet Powered Truck.
In what appears to be a reckless deadly game of chicken the two dogfighting planes are flying at each other in all directions and diving thru the smoke generated by the fire breathing Jet Truck on the runway. The Chaos continues as the Show Finale develops into a Jet Truck Race with only one of the planes. In an obvious effort to spoil the Race, the other Pilot, in a jealous rage, comes from the opposite direction head on at a closure rate of over 400 miles per hour.
They all meet at Show Center with what appears to be a Catastrophic Explosive Ending like you’ve never witnessed before. This Finale will “BLOW YOU AWAY”.
Team Chaos members include Randy Harris in the Red, White & Blue BiPlane, Gary Ward in the Purple & Green MX-2 plane and Neal Darnell in the 12,000 Horsepower 375 mph Flash Fire Jet Truck.
All three will also perform their INDIVIDUAL ACTS earlier in the show.

Gary puts the MX2 through one of the most exciting performances you will ever see. The action starts on take off as Gary pulls steeply up and goes into a spectacular take off maneuver! The entire sequence is jam packed with breathtaking gyrations that range from zero speed hovers to dives in excess of 250 mph! The MX2 is so powerful that at the end of an inverted flat spin, rotation is stopped and the MX2 will fly out, inverted, without the nose ever dropping below the horizon! Gary makes full use of the power and agility of the MX2 to perform many maneuvers that an "airplane just isn't supposed to do!"

Team RV, the world's largest air show team, fills the sky with a remarkable display of precision formation and formation aerobatics. Twelve aircraft fill show center with nonstop action including opposing passes, smoking close trail, diamond loops, barrel rolls, and large formation photo passes.
While most aerobatic performers have one basic program, Kent executes three storied acts that leave spectators mesmerized. These include a dead-stick (turning the engine off) routine from 6,000 feet and a rooftop landing on a moving RV! However, Kent is best known for a comedy act that features a detached aileron (wing flap) and a mesmerizing wingtip-scraping pass down the runway that you must see to believe.
